Senior Buyer/ Buyer
Sector: Manufacturing Location: Singapore (Tuas) Salary: 39,000 - 60,000 SGD p.a. Our client is a US based multinational with a strong global reach and expertise in the Power, Oil & Gas and Chemical industries. With over 15,000 employees worldwide, they are the recognized world leader in providing pumps, valves, seals and other services. Due to continuous growth and business expansion, they are seeking an experienced professional to join the winning team as Senior Buyer/ Buyer.About the company:
Summary of Responsibilities:* Provide accurate and efficient procurement and expediting of all components to meet required date for shipment
* Efficient vendor management in ensuring parts availability per the production schedule
* Ensure smooth and accurate issue of Purchase Orders
* Accurate and timely submission of weekly/monthly reports
* Degree / Diploma in supply chain management (Or related) with at least 2 year(s) of relevant working experience
Requirements:
* Applicant with 5 years(s) of experience may apply for the Senior Buyer position
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with suppliers & employees
* Computer literate and ability to type
* Applicants must be willing to work in Tuas (Transport Provided).
* Only Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status need to apply.
* Familiar with Oracle systems will be an added advantage
