Summary of Responsibilities Overall Purpose You will be responsible for the deployment of our client’s next generation trading solutions at client sites. Key Accountabilities * Work as part of a team of consultants responsible for the deployment and integration of our client’s solution to clients based in EMEA. You will be responsible for the onsite deployment of the our client’s solution using Solaris Key Tasks * Work as part of a professional services team, as a technical specialist responsible for delivery, integration and deployment of multi-tiered financial services products * Install and supervise bank installs of all required application components and with the assistance of other consultants also use Oracle, Weblogic, MQ and a range of third-party components in the future. * Analyse performance, scalability and security in client environments and recommend changes where required. * Design, integrate and deploy technical solutions in partnership with our client’s clients * Identify and document technical design, integration and deployment solutions for our client’s clients * Support business consultants on client projects * Contribute to and maintain documentation on design, integration and deployment standards for the professional services team * Be available as back up for Customer Support as required. * Act as the Singapore Office PC and network Administrator. Core Competencies Experience in several of the following areas would be a distinct advantage: * Experience with MYSQL and ORACLE deployments, and SQL * Experience of BEA Weblogic Application Server and distributed system design * Experience with Message-oriented middleware experience, ideally Websphere MQSeries * Experience with security certification such as Verisign and SSH * Knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML/XSL, Web technologies * Familiarity in benchmarking application performance and scalability * Experience of Firewall technologies * Experience with Apache/Tomcat, web deployment and support * PC/LAN experience for supporting Singapore office network and PC’s.
